BATANGA'S BUCAYO

               Its been a while since I last post something here! Sorry for that, it's just I dont have anything NEW and uncommon to post bout. But I've got something, not that NEW but something unsual, Yea as you can see from the title itself, its "bucayo". I always use to see this when Im of the town, always on the "pasalubong treats" but since I dont like how it looks like so Ive never ever eat it, even a taste. For me its a total gross! But it all change when my mom went home with this. She had an out of town with her co-teachers @batangas and bought this as her "pasalubong" for us. When I saw it, I never thought its something to eat coz obviously its sealed in a wooden like box, its made out of abaca leaves. I thought its a display souvenir. haha But my mom showed me how to open this thing and I was shocked that there's something inside of it. AWSOME + COOL! Something new for me, I got really curios so I gave a taste eventhough I knew that it was bucayo, it was a total SURPRISE! it tastes good! really good! Its composed of buko chuncks + sugar which makes it really sweet at the same time soft and chewable + with this cute and weirdo arrangement look, its GREAT!. Looks can really be deceiving i must say! It looks gross but taste like heaven! From this day on i'd love this bucayo :) A must try thing!

i must say, i love this food for real. im always looking forward to eat this every bday parties ive been through. wala lang, just want to share this coz im totally craving for this right now. anyway, ive tried lots and lots of lumpiang shanghai but my mom's lumpia is the best among the rest!!!

its actually my third time eating this, and i love the taste, that's why i decided to include this in my food trip blog. i never thought that this simple buns has its own twist. it has a yema filling inside. actually ive tried their other filling flavours but i think the yema filling is the best among the rest... i dont know how much this costs coz i always got it free:))

i never ever like tapsi before, yea i can eat, but i can say its not a my favorite. until i had a chance to eat it for dinner. i was with beth @moa by the seaside. i told her to just drink instead to eat since every estabishment there was a bar. but she refuses. i dont have a choice but to eat rather than to drink. i ordered razon's famous tapsi "kunno", out of any choice. sabe ku pa, "nu bayan ang mahal naman kaprice na to ng isang bucket ah". but soon enough its worth it. it costs 129/order, but i can say its the best!!
also their halo-halo's the best, just 92/serving. i love how their crushed ice is, its very firm. its really a must try:)

costa brava's caramel heart cake

as a result of being honest daw, Dr. Froilan gave me this cake in return, i really appreciate it though. he lost his valuable pen and i kept it until i found out that its his. anyway, the caramel cake was awsome. it taste not too sweet and not too tasteless, just right. ive tried lots of cakes but this one is unique and somehow im looking forward to taste it again specially if its for free again:)) haha
